Remarks

College admission process is very easy. I just have show my HS result and they fill up form of CET for me. Also the campus is very beautiful and neat and clean. After a simple interview they accept my application. And fees is worth. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

College faculties are experienced in their respective subjects and always ready to offer best education. They also give us many pdf and printed study materials. There is a amazing balance between industry and study. Monthly mock test taken for the exam.

Placement Experience

Placements and job offers are good if you look at the fees. Many students get internship opportunity from Kolkata based hotels. Also job packages start from 1.8 lacs per annum.

College Events

Various kinds of extra curricular activities are provided inside the college campus. So campus life is full of fun in SBIHM. Many sports events and tournamnets held in our college in winter season. And annual festival is very well organized.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
