Remarks
One of the reasons why I joined Hansraj was because of the fact that it boasts a great list of notable alumni. It also has a spacious campus and cordial environment. In addition, the college is also known for its distinguished professors. The college is also currently the 9th best college of India, according to the ranking of NIRF.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of English honors is pretty up to the mark. I really have no complaints as far as the curriculum is concerned. Some of my friends from other departments such as Economics and Commerce have also praised their respective curriculums. The faculty of Economics and Commerce is often regarded as one of the best in Delhi University.
Internships Opportunities
I have done many internships in the past, but not through the Internship Cell of the college.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities in our college are very good for Economics and Commerce students. However, I think I can't say the same for the humanities students. I am not sure about the alumni networking for job referrals in our college. Companies like McKinsey and Bain offer good profiles to the students.
College Events
The societies of Hansraj College hosts some of the best college fests in Delhi. Almost every society has its own fest. For instance, Illuminati, which is the quizzing society of Hansraj, hosts one of the biggest quizzing fests in the circuit. Societies like NEENV, Tedx Hansraj, FIC, EcoSoc and ComSoc host some great fests too. There's a society for every extra-curricular activity in Hansraj.
Campus Life
Sport facilities are adequate. The size of the library is also pretty good. However, the infrastructure of Hansraj still needs some improvement. As far as I know, we do have a wi-fi facility in the library.
