Remarks

I came to know from collegeduniya website that the college is good for science subjects and the PG's are available here. They change a low amount of fees for education and for food and lodging I paid 5000 per month.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is huge. Teachers are really helpful and their guidance and support help the students to continue their Studies. The laboratories are nice and instruments and samples are sufficient for everyone.

Many companies are show their interest in selecting employees from our college. Mainly final year students get the opportunity to start their careers in the renowned companies like Tata, Accenture, TCS etc. Any Students can join internship. Last year the highest salary was 360000 per year.

College Events

The campus is neat and clean and many extra curricular activities held here throughout the whole year. Sports day is the most attractive and many students participate in the intercollegiate sports and cultural activities. Teachers day, Fresher's party, farewell are the most notable event of every year.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
