Remarks

It is very near to my village and also the college has very good infranstructure. Campus is very big compared to any other college and contains many big grounds. The tuition fees is very affordable because this is a government college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the faculties are very experienced and doctorate. Good faculties compared to any other college.The teachers are very friendly and available all the time. They also give us free notes to help us in study and take mock test.

Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are not because the college is government undertaking and provide normal degrees. So you've to find your job from outside. And you can get internships and some are paid.

College Events

In our campus many activites held in many times a year. Like sports, women sports, cricket and football tournament. Also many social campaigns organized by our college and we all participate in them. We get points for these. College fest is very well-organized.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
