Thapar Institution of technology previous known as Thapar university is a pvt inst deemed to be university in patiala, Punjab. It is recognised by the UGC. Thapar has gained its name and fame among the pvt institutions. I want to go to Trinity college, Dublin after 2nd yeat for studies as a part of exchange programme under Trinity Thapar Engineering Programme. so i joined this institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
Thapar is good choice for mechanical studies because there is mechanical lab, automobile engineering lab, best DNA sequencing macines. Teachers have technical knowledge. In each semester we teach different subject. there are theory and practical classes. students do not need to worry about their syllabus.
Placement Experience
Every student internship through college.many companies come to take students for internship. those students who have good academic performance and technical knowledge get placement. almost every company visit there. students get average package of seven lac per annum. job opportunities for mechanical and c. s are more than other branches.
College Events
Thapar campus is housed in a 300 acre land. It has different academic blocks namely A, B, C, D, F, H blocks. Thapar library has a combine seating capacity of 400 seats. library is air conditioned and remain open for 24 hours. campus has banking facility, confectionery store, waiting room. Fest are conducted by students. fresher's party is conducted every year. one negative point of this inst is some boys are smoker, drinkers. Inst has 13 hostel for boys and girls. all facilities of water cooler, gym, night canteen, wi-fi connectivity are provided.
