Remarks

A south campus college with Great infrastructure,Good faculty,numerous societies and emerging opportunities I have developed interest in Economics in class 12th and want to pursue this subject in Graduation also.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.A(H) Economics course was introduced in this college in year 2013. Good faculty-Teachers are very knowledgeable. Some teachers are also pursuing post-graduation. Yes, college have a good placement cell which motivates us to participate in internships and events.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Hareen team works I have applied for 'Human Resources' post through college placement cell but there are no vacant seats left so they offered me the post of 'Business Developer'. The process for applying for internships is through uploading cv and other required details in the registration link.

Placement Experience

Companies like KPMG, Wipro,Genpact visited for full time internships last year.The average package offered is around 3 lacs and almost 50% of the total students get placed but most of the students of B.A(H) Economics go for M.A Economics or UPSC.

Ramanujan college organizing various events in Lockdown Like Ramanugen(Department of Mathematics) is organizing 'Meme Competition' on every Friday and 'Mathematics quiz'on every Monday. And other societies also organizing various workshops and webinars. Huge participation in events of students.

College have Various sports like Athletics, Chess, Football, Volleyball, Tae-kwon-do, Table- Tennis, Weight-lifting, Power lifting & Body Building. College library is Air conditioned and computerized.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
