Remarks

The reason for choosing the college was it??s a girls college, and I always wanted to study in a girls college, I never liked Co-ed, and Shikshayatan is completely girls college it was my first preference.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some teachers in our college are helpful to the students. Some teachers just do their work and have no interaction with the students. Most of the staff members are knowledgeable only on the subject they have taken, the faculty members should be on it.

Placement Experience

Our batch students are highly excellent in studies and also in other kinds of skilled activities like participating in a symposium conducted by colleges around us. Students should score 60% in academics, which is the minimum eligibility level for attending the campus recruitment by most of the companies.

College Events

The biggest event in the college is our fest, the name of the fest is Srijan which is around February every year. There are around 2000 students visiting and performing in the fest and even sports event are there in the fest.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
