Remarks

The explanation behind picking this college was it doesn't have an obligatory participation prerequisite of 75 percent, so I can do my other thing like doing low maintenance occupations or doing temporary jobs with some great organization.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are helpful and well qualified and have the knowledge to guide us and show us the right path. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares the student for industry. The course is beneficial, and the GD round in between and activities all the time is organised.

The world is facing a pandemic, we didn't get an internship from outside, few companies offered work from home but that was not relevant much. So we are doing our own internal research. Companies like byju's, collegeate etc. Come to our college for recruitment.

College Events

The campus surrounding is healthy and friendly. There are extracurricular activities organised around the year. In the month of February college fest is held, which is huge and successful, with a good number of people coming.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
