Remarks

I took admission in this college after discussing with my elder brother. The college is good and also has good number of students. It is located in beautiful city, Kolkata. The college is also safe for both the genders.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our university offers a wide range of courses. It has two campuses, one is in Park Circus and the second campus is in New town. In Park Circus, arts courses were offered. In New Town campus, engineering courses and management courses like MBA and BBA were offered. The college is the best in the MBA.

Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

There are a lot of IT-hubs at the side of our university. TCS, Wipro, and many others IT sectors are situated there. At the last year, a multinational company called Amazon visited the college. Overall, the placements on the campus are good.

College Events

The best college under the government of West Bengal. The infrastructure of the college was beautiful. Hostel for boys and girls were provided. The culture followed here is more inclined towards Islamic culture. The college was just like Aligarh Muslim University. We can say this college was like Second AMU. The college provided a 16-storey beatufiul building for the boys' hostel.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
