Archit Goyal's Review On Government Medical College, Haldwani

Primarily it is regarded one of the beat institutions for studying medicine in the state of uttarakhand. The reason being firstly it was one of the first institute to start in the state and has given the country so many great doctors with its successful ex students. The faculty being the 2nd best thing to join the college after its experience in the field of medicine. And then the hospital that sushila tiwari which famous in the entire state and people from far away come to get their treatment done owing to the experienced doctors working here.

Curriculum is based on the pattern set by the medical council of india which is majorly similar throughout the country. Then academics are really great in our college with a regular time table to be followed throughout the year sincelrely. Along with the practicals which has a major focus in the college. Then hospital clinics are must to be attended daily with the college bus taking us from our campus to the hospital daily. And lastly the faculties are greatly experienced with working here since many many years.

Basically in our field we do not have a placement programme in particular but most of the pass outs get a job somewhere or the other. We have very very less non working people from haldwani owing to the reputation and the hard work of the children.As a pass out from haldwani is competent in all terms and cannot fail in the outside world in terms of job.

We have one of the best college life's here. We have lived one of the best days of our life in GMC haldwani. The seniors the fact everyone are so supporting that you just don't feel out of home being here. Then we a 15 day college feat here one of the largest and best starting from sports and ending with cultural. We have each and every competition with great enthusiasm in each event. And its like one hell of a competition in the finals And the cultural also so amazing dances singing and ramp walks like those days are the best days of the year. You just cant miss the fest being their in college.

Our campus is very big in terms of size. Its one of the biggest campus in our state where we have all the facilities starting from sports to labs to lecture theaters. Everything is their. Its just that the campus is very old so the infrastructure is also old not according to today's modern infrastructure. Then secondly being a government college the infrastructure is not much looked upon after. But the basic ementities are provided like we have hostels for every year based on twin occupancy. And single occupancy in internship.
