Remarks
Firstly, this was the best college available for me. Secondly, the alumni of this college slightly fascinated me. I really like the faculty over here, it's pretty learned and outspoken. And I joined this course because it was a prerequisite for my career ambition as I want to become an English professor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus for the first year is quite tough considering the fact that the freshers have just came out of their school with a little predisposition to Classical literature. Well, personally I didn't get enough exposure through this course. The faculty is really good, to be honest. Mr. Arnab Das is really practical in his teaching approach along with his thorough knowledge of the subject.
Placement Experience
companies like McKinsey and Bain come to our campus.They offer decent profiles And decent packages. Eco and commerce students have access to good opportunities as far as placements are concerned.But the same can't be said for humanities students.
College Events
Our college does not really provide any condusive environment for extra co-curricular activities and there is always this tussle between ECA societies like Dramsoc and the administration. We don't even get to have a big celebrity night during fests which somehow, dampens our enthusiasm for our own college fest.
