Remarks

The reason for choosing this college is perfect timing, since I am doing Charter Accounting, time is the main concern for me, the college starts early in the morning so I can attend the college also as well as my CA classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college were knowledgeable and well-qualified. They were helpful and supportive in all aspects related to studies and other problems as well. All the teachers should pursue a PhD to become a permanent faculty member in Amity. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

There are very few companies recruiting companies in B.Com. So the college can't be rated on this parameter. However when students go on a job hunt, they find themselves inferior under some situations. However this field is more of self efforts so nothing much can be done for that.

College Events

Our annual festival is very huge, even Celebrities are called to perform, this year Darshan Raval was called to perform, there were around 1500-2000 people watching his performance, passes were given to each and every student of the college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
