Remarks

This college is so good in teaching. It is a government College. This college provide good placements. It is government college so the expenses and college fee is less which is really good for me regarding my economical status.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is mentioned by the University of our education degree. The college just maintain these but our faculty is not properly maintain time to time or as it's necessary. They don't look at time to time so such time problem occurs.

I'm in 3rd year now of total 4 years course so I actually don't know about the placement and job opportunities but as I hear that our Textile department's placement is 100% and our Computer Science Department is near about 70-80% but other departments like mechanical's and electrical's placement is such weak.

College Events

The campus life is good I think. There is full of college lifestyle and college give us freedom to attend class or unattended it or in other extra curricular activities are full in our campus. They organises many events like fest, puja etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied for Academy of Technology, but the fees were too high in my opinion so I stepped back and applied for this college. I applied for AoT in the first counselling but I applied for second counselling and got admitted in this college. To apply for this college you need to get around 15000 rank (for general category) in WBJEE, also diploma students can apply for this college through JELET exam.
