It is a government college. It has a big campus. The admission is taken online on the basis of merit.It is nearby my house and the course fee is also less. Official website of Markham college. long time duration was given by the college to take admission

I have an interest in commerce and mainly in accounts, that's why I have selected to do B.com.The ratio of students is quite high. Teachers of the college are highly qualified.The term exams are taken in the interval of 6 months

At the last semester is post-graduation the students are eligible for campus placement. Almost 80 %of the student gets placement to apply for post-graduation after getting. The degree of undergraduate.Very less number of companies are coming for recruitment

Because it is a government college so there is no problem with a hike in fees and the college fees are less. Scholarship ship is provided by the college.no job is provided by the college, the students have to get a job on their own

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

• I didn't apply for other colleges and I choose because of the low fees and also because it accept lower attendance and I am doing CA alongwith so I provided me more time to prepare. • Admission process of our college: (i) After 12th we have to register in chancellor portal by filling all the required documents and details. (ii) After that a merit list released by the vbu university for every particular colleges. (iii) If your name comes in the merit list than you are eligible to take admission in the college and you have to go to the college for offline submission of the required documents and after the documents verification done . (iv) After documents verification, again if have to go chancellor portal website and have to choose the major subject we want and have to pay 1760 fees .
