Entrance Preview

I took all kerala engineering entrance exam and my rank was 39906. I opt this college because it was very near to my house . I love the atmosphere of the college very much.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provide internship with many multi national companies like infosys ,ibm, mrfetc. The starting stipend is around 10000 rupees and more and it depend on the company.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities is very important in the case of technical education.the college has a special placement cell for the training purpose of the students.many companies like the infosys came for placement in our college and many were selected.

College Events

The college conducts various technical and cultural fest.it also conducts various management festivals.each department of the college has its own various technical fest and the college together conducts inter college festival called nakshatra. The prizes of the fest worth around five lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offered me a loan facility also. After i was admitted in the college in the management quota the fees structure was provided and they provided 90%of the total fee as loan by a nationalised bank.

Admission

The admission process is very clean and systematic,the admission are done purely on the basis of the entrance exam ranks.management quota are also provided in this college. I was selected in the management quota. It took only an hour to complete my admission procedure.

Faculty

The faculties of the college is very good. They are well known about the subject and well experienced.i was feeling very comfortable with the teaching methods ,styles and with the faculties. The teaching standards of the college faculties are beyond our expectation . They are well versed in the subject.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore.
