Remarks

Birla College has name and fame in our area like it's the best college in Kalyan dombiwali. Good campus and teachers. My elder sister also graduated from the same college. The main reason for choosing this college is it's on walking distance from my home. Facilities are not good enough as per charges. The administrative staff is so egoistic. Unaided courses are so expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview

Internet technology is a highly rated course in this era and programming is not so bad to learn it is useful in every aspect. HOD and Vice-principal are the best teachers I have. Also, Kalpesh sir is a good faculty in IT department.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 28890 per year

Placement Experience

Only the Students having A/ A+ or O grade are eligible for campus interview. Wipro is the most visited company. So many other courses and workshops are available for IT Students. For example robotics and scratched programming. 20% of students getting placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of FY BScIT is 28890 you can pay it in two terms or in one term. All scholarships are applied just fill the form on the date you will get the fees with scholarship. Fees are high as compared to offered facilities.

Campus Life

Pravah, Ignite, Mr and Miss Birla are the most popular fest of Birla college. They are conducted in October to December. Library of Birla college is on two floors while there are two separate sections for girls and boys. Classrooms are good with an adequate amount of light and air. For sports and extracurricular activities NSS, NCC, art circle, Gymkhana is available. Archery is one of the most played game in Gymkhana.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
