Remarks

The best aspect of joining this college is that comes under the University of Delhi which gives your good impression when you flaunt about your college in front of your relatives or friends. But at the same time when you come across the infrastructure of the college, you will be disappointed. Since in this university students from all corners of India comes, little bit difficulty you have to face but the authority of the college are very helpful who guide very patiently throughout the admissions process. Normally the admission process starts after the declaration of result from CBSE/ ICSE i.e. mid-May. You can join this college as this comes under the University of Delhi which reflects a good impression on your resume. Also the student you encounter in the college are meritorious who scored around 90% in board which helps you to grow holistically.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because in Delhi University for commerce only this course is available where you can get admission without having maths in your twelfth board. In the commerce department, around 400 students took admission and there are around 20-25 faculty members are there. All the faculties are either PhD holder or are pursuing PhD. Many facilities also did an MBA from a very recognised university. Many faculties of this college have written different books which are being taught in many of the top MBA colleges of the country. Now coming on the teaching techniques of the facilities you will find a mix of both goods and average. Some of them taught quite well while others try but could not succeed. Overall you will find the teacher have good experience of teaching. The best part of the University of Delhi is that all the examination happens on time. You will get a calendar on the website initially and it will be followed throughout.

Placement Experience

1

Some companies are coming in January for recruitment but they select very few. People looking for placement normally try out campus Placement as there they find better payment and facilities. This college rather helps in getting an internship if the person interested in society. For an internship, there is a society which brings different internship opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sri Aurobindo College Evening charges the least fees among all the college of the university of Delhi. The minimum amount of 5840 they charged initially at the time of admission for the first year. In the second year, they charge 5400 while in the third year 5161 they charge. This amount may vary by some amount as I have mentioned these amounts which they charge from us during the year 2018-2020. In this college, you rarely get a scholarship. Also, you don't need that as the college fees are very little.

Campus Life

5

Every day you will find one or another fest going on in college. In the annual fest of the college, they invite any singer or actor for performance. The annual fest of the college is very entertaining. In the library, you will find ample books for any course you want. Also, the books from different sections like spiritual, mythology, science, fiction, etc are available. Classrooms are very compact and sometimes dirty because the same classroom is used by the morning batch. Also, the desks are not so comfortable. The washroom is stinking. But there is the availability of fresh drinking water. There is not at all any opportunities for sports in the college. But some sort of extracurricular activities like dance, singing, nukkad natak taking place. In this college, the thing you praise the most is that you will get much society which helps in your overall development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
