Remarks
I had started my college journey from K. C. College only & did felt like another home. Even the combination of Stats, Maths & Eco was available with very few colleges & K. C. College was one of it. So it was my ultimate choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course covered is quite good & even the number of students are limited to 50 for which 6 faculty members are there. Even software like R & excel are covered in this course & a good number of informative seminars are organized by the college based on various topics.
Placement Experience
I am unaware of this part as I haven't taken part in it as I had different plans to continue with & cannot say much about it. In statistics, one of the well-known companies that had visited our college was JP Morgan. My plan is to continue with actuarial science.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for all three years was around 7000/year. The college does provide the option to apply under the Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship to the students. Big companies like JP Morgan did visit our college last year for campus hiring.
Campus Life
K. C. College hosts one of the well-known fests i.e. Kiran. It is like a complete celebration for 4 consecutive days. Plenty of books are available in the college's library & even we get to borrow current academic year's books for the complete course duration at a refundable cost of 75. Almost all the classrooms are well furnished. There is a sports room in the college which is open for all. K. C. College has a group named NSS which carries out social work & the head of the NSS unit has received an award from the President of India. Even there's a rotract club which is a students organization.
Interview Experience
There was no interview or GD round for the admission. The admission process was purely based on the percentage scored in the 12th standard. After applying, if you are selected then your name would appear in the merit lists produced by the college.
