The teaching faculty of this college is very good. The admission process is simple. We have to register on hstes website. And then they will publish the result whether we are allotted a seat or not. In case you are not allotted a seat, you can go for the spot round counselling with all the required documents told on the official website of the college. The infrastructure is not so good but the placement is superb especially for Computer Science and Information Technology. The mechanical branch is also very good at this college. Top companies like Amazon, Samsung, LG recruit students from this college.

Data Science is a much-demanded course in these days. The students who are good at maths and especially statistics should go for this course. Computer Science with specialisation in Data Science is started this year in college. But the teaching faculty is too good. Usually, the strength of a class is around 70-75. Most of the teachers are PhD holders. And few are pursuing it. Regular tests are conducted to test the knowledge up-gradation of students. But if you were attentive in the class, you can easily pass the tests.

The internship opportunities are also provided to students in this college. This helps them to get an idea of the work which they have to do in future. Companies hire students for internship and if they find them good, they keep them as their employee.

The highest package offered in this was around 28 lakhs and the average package is around 4 to 4.5 lakhs. Almost 90% of students got placed from this college. For a general category student, the fee in the first semester in 48230. But in the next semesters, it is much low than this. There are so many scholarships for students. There is a scholarship for economically weak students. There is a scholarship for intelligent students. And if someone fills the form through tuition fee waiver category then he doesn't need to pay the tuition fee.

Culmyca is the name of annual fest conducted in J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology. It is organised in the month of August or September. The library of this college has a huge number of books. There are so many clubs in this college which include Nataraja-the dance club, tarannum-the music club and so on. There is also a sports club in the college called the eklavya club. All the clubs have their own Facebook and Instagram handles run by students.
