Remarks
The college provides the best ambience for study. The teachers are highly qualified and help students to resolve their queries. The labs are equipped with the best instruments and lab assistants are really very helpful. Very few companies come for Biotechnology placements and we have to go to JIIT for are placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed and aligns mostly with the gate syllabus. The faculty student ratio is also good it is approximately 1:20 All the teaching faculty are PhD and some are even Post Doc.
Internships Opportunities
During the 7th semester itself, students become eligible for the internships and placements. There were several companies that that came on campus for providing internships in different domains such as IT, Biotech, and some companies for Electrical department as well.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements. For the specifical biotechnology department, very few companies came on-campus in the 7th semester, during my time. However, no. Of the company rose in 8th semester. In the Biotechnology department in 2019, approximately 80% of students got placed. Some opt for higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
As i took admission in 2015 college charged the approximate amount of 3,00,000 per annum The college fees increase every year for the new batch but for the previous batch, it is same. There are no scholarships and assistance for the B. Tech students. I was able to get the job in the 7th Semester and joined the company as a trainee with 6,000 Rs. Per month stipend and a package of 3.5 lakh
Campus Life
The campus life at JUIT was very enthralling and I had a great time there. We had annual cultural fest called Le'Festus, Technical fest and sports meet every year. Other than this we had MUNS and Jaypee Youth Parliaments. There we numerous clubs and committees, for students to join. In addition, there were departmental clubs.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are spacious enough. The college have single and double seater rooms. Each room have a cupboard, table, chair, bed (with matress) per student. The entire hostel is centrally heated. The common room is the most lively part of hostel and had TV in it.
