I took admission in second year direct after completing my three year diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication. My score in diploma last year was 88.00%. I opted for MIT after studying its faculty, placement record and extra curricular activities conducted in the college through out the year.

MIT, Pune is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (a.k.a PUNE UNIVERSITY). Course is as per the university. It includes recent technology related subjects. More emphasis on basic concept in 1st and 2nd year. Last year curricula is completely application oriented. Overall best course curriculum available.

No. College doesn't provide internship. Yes but college helps in required documents required for internship in private college.

Campus placement is almost 100%. Only condition is to have good grades without backlog and year down. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Nvidia, Tata Technology, Cybage, Mahindra & mahindra, Whirlpool, Mu sigma, iGate etc. Package ranges from 3.2lacs p.a. to 15 lacs p.a.

College is nationally known for MIT SUMMIT. It is national level sports competition. Other technical events are conducted usually in the second semester that is after december. Events like Texphyer are well known in Pune area. Cultural events takes place regularly which provides a good platform for students.

On an average fee 1lac p.a. excluding hostel and mess.Students from backward category gets government benefit like scholarship, free ship, fee wavier. Though fee is on bit higher side you can pay in installments. Fee is as per the Shikshan Shulk Commision recommendations.And exam fees are decided and regulated by Pune university. Hostel fee and mess costs another 1 lakh p.a.

Scholarship and free-ship are provided by Maharashtra government to the students of Maharashtra state which are from backward caste and economically weaker. As a college it doesn't provide any separate loan or scholarship scheme as per my knowledge.

One of the best campus life in the city. Gender ration is equal i.e. 50:50. You will find students from all over the world. Students from north, south, east, west corner of India opts for MIT. Also you will find students from Africa, West Asia, and other Asian countries.

Exam pattern was as per university rules and regulations. Exams and labs were not much hectic. Each semester we had to give 2 unit tests and 1 semester exam. Overall exams were chilled out. Each semester was usually 5 months including semester. Unit tests was pretty much flexible and used to get completed in two days.

Faculty is well qualified. Maximum number of faculty members are Ph. D holders and minimum post graduate. Teacher to student ratio is excellent. Optimum use of technology like PPT, projector, which helps in easy learning and better understanding of the subject.
