Overall Summary on Tezpur University

This college is as good as campus overview friends and overall student amenities. And I think there is a disadvantage on transportation and placements on core branches. But there is hope because the placement cell is getting better day by day. I took admission on 1st November 2020 through JEE Main examination and CSAB Counselling. My crl rank is little bit low and on that rank, I am getting newer NIT's and they have not there owned placement cell but here you got that opportunity and this university is the 5th in India and provides you world-class facilities that's why I choose it. And I found this college or university name through the csab counselling portal and career kick platform. Overall I am happy with this and this is a great one.

Because I love to eat and I want to do anything to help our farmers and our food production quality. This is Government University so if you expect that you get facilities ratio like private University this is wrong. I think in my overview there is 30:1 faculty-student ratio. But the facilities are too good in behaviour and they all are doctorate-level teachers so they are pretty good in their subjects. The exams are not so easy or not so very difficult but difficult. The questions are very excited and pretty tough.

There is a lot of companies offered on-campus internship like Emami, Patanjali, ITC. In this university, they give you an open mind for your projects research ideas. They also grant an amount for your idea.

After 6-7th semester students will be eligible for campus placements. 300+ Companies are visiting this university for jobs. Just like Wipro, Infotech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Patanjali, Amdani Adani group this year highest CTC offered 15 LPA by Oil India Limited. There is a lot of Government jobs will be offered. I have no plan to start up something I want a job or after doing that degree I am going to Delhi for UPSC training.

I think the fees of the university is low as all time. Because the 1st-semester fees only are 35k. And the fees hike is negligible. Many scholarships will be offered and the placements are good but not so very good at the present time the placement cell will getting better day by day.

There is a lot of festival in Assam which was celebrated in this university also. And the university also conducts many tech fest food fest annual fests. The library of the university is so big. Approx 3 lakh+ books are there. Classrooms are good like other NIT and IIT's.

No cost Electricity, Water, Mess, Only two beds in one room so it's too good for a student for study. Food quality is good but not much good. If you go for Physical document verification you would be applying for a hostel. There are 6 or 7 boys hostels and 5-6 girl's hostel. Nappa Chairali road is a good location for rental rooms or PG.
