All about my College

The college maintains discipline among students. The teaching staff is friendly with the students. It provides facilities like computer lab, library but not many books available for our course. Canteen facility is ok, should be improved more. The college does not provide transport facility we need to depend on local buses or taxi from Panvel station. The admission process is not difficult in this college you can easily get admission. Try first through merit basis if you are not getting the desired college then you can visit this college for offline admission. If any engineering student wants to do a part-time job along with course study then it's best. There is no attendance issue so one can attend college less and go for an internship.

I wanted to pursue Computer Science Engineering as there is scope in this field. All faculty are helpful and kind. They teach well and encourage them to learn courses in our field. They have teaching experience. Some teachers teach really good and explain concepts well. All faculty has teaching experience. The college conducts two unit tests on time and term tests scheduled as per university. If a student is attending and is understanding concepts then it's not difficult to pass in exams. Everyone has to do their self-study so can't fully depend on college faculty always.

Our college has tie-up with Internshala that suggests our internships. Companies like free charge, Imperfecto has recently offered an internship with 3000/- for 3 days of work from home in the field of marketing, HR. Other companies like BoltIot, Virtusa and Xoriant.

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placements ie. from the third year onwards. Percentage of students getting placement through this college is less than 50%. You cannot depend much on college for placements. Need to search on our own. But they suggest us internships in different companies.

For 4-year course duration in engineering now approx 90-95k are yearly fees. Fee structure differs based on category open, Sc, Obc, TFWS. Students can apply for the scholarship every year and get the benefit. There are different schemes for a different category like EBC scholarship and Non-EBC scholarship as per Mahadbt.

Every year college conducts fests in the month of February mostly in the second week itself. Events include sports, technical fest-Robo race, Robo soccer, Computer gaming etc., traditional day, cultural events like dance, singing. Our college is named after great leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj so every year in the month of February Shivaji Jayanti is also celebrated with the presence of the guest. Again a farewell and convocation for final year students in the month of April. Then the fresher's party and orientation program for newcomers in the month of September or October. Also, in Navratri 1-day Garba is also celebrated. College makes students participate in such events and assign to organize such events in college.
