Remarks

Before applying I knew that, the teachers of this collage are fully compassionate about their work. So I choose this college and now I'm seeing it's true. But, yes! the location of this college is not so good enough. So, I got this collage through Jexpo counselling and I used the official website while selecting the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Actually, I wanted to pursue Civil Engineering but I miss the opportunity and as Survey Engineering is also very close to Civil that's why I pursued Survey. As if you are a Survey student you can also do B.tech on Civil Engineering. Look as it is a Government based Institute there is less variety of teachers. The ratio of faculty and student, very close to 40:1 that means there is only 1 teacher for 40 students. But it is true that every faculty does their masters in their respective fields, they are just awesome with their work. Not only English teachers - Math teachers are great the whole faculty is mind-blowing. The exams are very easy but yes! You have to do the best of yourself.

Placement Experience

2

So, there is no in-campus placement system. But PTO cell is great, they do all the necessary things for you to get placed. They select some eligible students and send them to out-campus placements. Where you have to complete with other students from different colleges. Then it's up to you, how you perform! So, approx 20% of students (2018-2019) got placed. The average package is around (1.5 - 2.5) lacks per annum. Suppose I got placed, so then maybe I also persued an online course for graduation and if I do not get placement then it will be clear, just next step which is BTech.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, there is no such cost. For, education purpose it is like 1500 per year. And there is also another type of costs, for example, the cost of living which is around 1000-2500 per month. So, mainly there are 2 types of scholarships. One is for girls, which is named as 'Pragati Scholarship Scheme' and the other is for specially-abled students, which is named as 'Saksham Scholarship'. Now the main thing! There is no in-campus placement record till now. The thing is, the PTO cell of our college, select some students based on their performance and send them to get placement where we compete with other students from various colleges. You can say, this is a type of placement process.

Campus Life

3.5

So, in our college, there is some society or clubs which is run by students. The clubs have their own priority. Some clubs are organized fest on collage, some are doing Donation camps, some of them prepare students for internships, future exams etc. There are no such extracurricular activities, all you have to do it on your own. There is a nice well-organized library. All the important books related to your work, you can easily get that from the library.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
