Counselling willl happen in sardar Patel college Mumbai. Counselling happen in the month of August. In which you have to fill a form and give you top ten preference of college and branch. According to which you'll be allowed seat. Every college in Maharashtra have one seat reserved for Jammu Kashmir migrant in each branch.

I pursued electrical engineering there . As our was the first batch of electrical engineering passing out from college it was a good experience. The drawback was lack of core companies during placement and you'll get an IT company at the end. But overall staff is very supporting. You'll get to learn things. And now as 3 batches already passed from college , good core companies are coming for placement.

Placements are actually very good if you have 60% aggregate you'll be placed in good MNC however companies do come for placements below are few companies which come for placements.

Sports week is celebrated you'll get to participate in all the sports plus university level sports also. Cultural month is celebrated in the month of jan this fest is celebrated at university level. There will be tech week also in which so many games will be there and all the technical games.

Fir general category students fee is 1 lakh per annum plus exam fees which is around 700 . Exam fees is paid twice every year you can pay fees in installments also which is a good thing. For obc category fees is around 50k every year. For SC st category it is even less like 24k every year and for not category its zero.

Gender ratio is equal campus is very green and clean you'll get to study in nature away from all the noise and pollution that is the best part of the campus religious festivals are celebrated in college there is no tagging in college so many sports and cultural activities every year.

Hostel charge is 45k for every year including mess charges hostel is good with 4 sharing and 3 Sharing maid is available for cleaning and she come everyday. There is no water shortage. Food is okay like every mess food is provided twice everyday.

Every year there is aluminum meet in which all the previous alumnus meet it is just casual gathering and not at all help full.

Every semester three u not test will be there in which 2 unit is coveted. After that there'll be prelim exam which is replica of main exam followed by practical and viva for practical and viva external use to coma and they'll take your exam.after that there will be semester end exam which is final exam conducted by pune university.

Faculty is qualified but few professors doesn't have any interest in curriculum. Most of the faculty is holding a Ph.D degree and rest of them are pursuing Ph.D there is a good opportunity to involve in their PHD project most of students do their final year project with professors only. They involve in their Ph.D project and learning is good with them.
