KEAM, I score rank of 12000+. There is nothing like an interview since I got through the engineering allotment. There are management seats as well NRI seats. They have even started M.Tech courses too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is outdated and what they teach you over there is purely theory. The faculties over there do not have much practical knowledge on whatever they are teaching. The lab staff is somewhat good, if you treat them well. You cant expect much from the faculties or they wont support much for your extra skills (Even though there are exceptions). There were rank holders in our college at our time too. All that you can do is you can enjoy the climate over there and have long 4 year vacation mood over there.
Internships Opportunities
No. What I think is. Most of the students even me back then, never heard about a thing called INTERNSHIP. All that mattered for us was friendship. Nobody told us there was any other ship's. And we were in an island. Sorry for the sarcasm. But its true, they have no idea about how an internship changes a students life. But yeah they got a placement cell.
Placement Experience
Placement seriously yes, I agree that students get placed over there. Some of them even in good companies. But most of them in off-campus placements. Its so sad that they took us for BPO's too. Don't want to talk about my placement experience much.
Faculty
Average or below average. There are a very few good faculties. Most them will be having a short teaching span in that college. Its all because of the poor management as well as the location of the college which is too far from the best city in the district or the neighbor. One more thing is that this faculties are not much bothered about the students but their own career.
