One of the Best college

The admission process went on smoothly. The officials were cooperative enough to help the students and they assured that the admission would be completed in the least possible visits to college. I had to visit only 2 times to complete my admission to the college at the end of July month,2018. The faculties are highly qualified and the HODs of every department are PhD qualified while all of them have enough teaching as well as industrial experience, they are very much supportive and works for the benefit of students. This college has rose to fame in a very less span of time. They provide Bus service from Palghar Railway Station although it is paid its worth. The fee is also less as compared to any other colleges in Mumbai. The most fascinating thing was the Infrastructure. All these benefits lured me to take admission to this college. The only cons are that they are very strict and particular about the deadlines which at the end is beneficial for students only.

I choose Computer Engineering as I was highly interested in technology since my school days. The faculties are highly qualified with HOD being PhD holder and others having PhD degree as well as Masters degree with high teaching and industrial experience. The faculty: student ratio might be 1:60 that is 1 faculty for 60 students. Also, we have been provided with Mentors with a small group of students so that the problems can be discussed and solved via mentors and they can guide the students for their well-being. The faculties used all the available resources to teach the students. They used projectors and blackboards as and when needed. They provided class notes as well. During online classes, the faculties have been effective enough and have delivered their lectures with ease. They have provided us with their recorded lectures, pdf of reference books, and their notes. The exam is the time taken and the difficulty ranges from easy to hard.

Students become eligible for placement interviews from the 6th semester. Our college is mostly being visited by IT-based companies. Some well-renowned companies like TCS, LTI, and many more company recruiters visit our college. The highest package might be around 8 to 10 LPA while the average package might be around 4 LPA and 30% to 35% of students get placed in the first attempt itself from the on-campus drive for placements. I am planning for Masters's Degree after pursuing Bachelors's Degree. It is expected that the number of students getting placed will gradually increase eventually.

This college offers a Computer engineering course with the least possible fees. When I took admission, it was less than 1 lac/year and at present, it might also be the same although the fee rises by 2-5 thousand every year. They have provided with bus facility from Palghar Railway station which is paid. An extra small amount has to be paid every year, which is compulsory for every student, to get unlimited assignment papers, printing papers, files for every subject and most importantly a locker for every individual which eventually gives an edge to other colleges. The college offers a TFWS scholarship with certain terms and conditions. Also, an EBC scholarship is provided which is a government scholarship. There are on-campus drives by various renowned companies like TCS, LTI, and various others.

Annual fest named Megaleio is conducted every year in the month of January for 3 days. There are numerous events including Robo War, Robo Race, Coding events, gaming events, fun events, and much more. In 2019, MegaHack, a 24 hours Hackathon, was conducted for the first time during Megaleio. The Science Exhibition is also conducted for 2 days in January month every year for engineering students wherein they can exhibit technological models and other field related aspects. Every year, Sports Day is also celebrated in college for 2 Days in the month of December or January which include cricket, football, badminton, indoor games like chess, tennis, carrom, etc. and many other activities. Amenities in the classroom includes Projector and highly ventilated windows to get a cool breeze and keep student fresh although they have fans. The college has a big library with a huge amount of books and many copies of reference books and other materials. Every department has its own Student Associations.
