Remarks

It is the famous private university. I wanted to pursue btech computer science and with my score I choose dit as it was placed in main city of Uttrakhand and also very popular amoung students. It was established in year1998. Infrastructure is very good and buildings are very attractive.

All courses in university is related to science stream. And this university is generally popular for btech generally in computer science stream. Faculties are good labs are well maintained with well equipped facilties. Faculty that I find best till now is Dr. Gupta as he has years of experience in the field.

Placement Experience

Placement rate is fine average salary offered is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per annum and companies such as vipro, Amazon visits regularly. Previous year a student was offered package of 25 lpa.

College Events

Campus life is good events generally technical ones are organised and students work on projects and faculties supports and encourage for it. Hostel life is good and fun. Online webinars are conducted regarding future scopes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course (BAMS) is very good and interesting. In initial days it is little bit difficult to understand the concepts but teachers explains very well that you will get the concepts as Ayurveda is a different & ancient science . You will get very much of written work No clinical postings and OPD postings. I think it should be implemented

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course due to my own interest. This course is relevant enough to prepare the person to solve real-life applications and adapt thinkingness and knowledge. It would be helpful if they use visual content to teach it will be helpful. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect according to the level of the paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.

Admission:

The entrance exam is held on June 1 every year. IIMs .silly running. The test is for admission to all IIMs including IISK Shikesh, Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. After selection, you just have to visit college for filling the form.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
