Second best state govt. college for mechanical engineering. Faculties are very good. Very inexpensive course structure. Has a renowned reputation over the years. Provides hostel facility to students. You have to get into the college by securing a good rank in WBJEE or JEE
Course Curriculum Overview
For a batch 64 graduates 18 profferssor were there with specialization in different fields. Course curriculum is overall easy. You just have to study nominal to pass exams. Gather knowledge and concepts for your betterment. 4 yrs course with 8 semesters and 16 internals excluding the vivas and lab exams and assignments.
Placement Experience
Placement for this is quite satisfactory. Over 15 companies visited our campus including mass recruiters like tcs, Cognizant. Many of the students got jobs from off and pool campus drive also. Highest package for this year is 28lpa. Others also got good packages of 11lpa, 6.p lpa.
College Events
With a campus of over 160 acres. Lots of greenary are there. Lot of traveling and camping destination in 10 km of college campus. And a never ending tea garden behind college. The college located at the outskirts of the away from noises and disturbance. On a clear Monday morning kanchanjangha and other Himalayan peaks are visible from campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very much affordable in terms of expenses. There are various scholarship provided by state govt. As a state owned college, college won't provide any scholarship other than tuition fees waiver. Admission
Yes. Securing good rank in WBJEE orJEE will give you a chance to take admission in the college. The question paper for the above mentioned exams are available over their respective websites. Prepare well for the exam. You can appear for those exams after 12th( whichever board you are from). A rank less than 5000 in WBJEE will surely guarantee your admission but I can't guarantee that you will get your favoured trade.
