All in all I can say that The North Cap University is a great college for students from Delhi-NCR. It provides a good educational platform at an accessible cost. The campus environment and faculty is excellent, and it enriches your college life.

I gave many entrance exams like IIT JEE, BITSAT, SRMJEE, VITEEE and a few other private colleges too. I cleared all entrance exams for South India but I wanted to live around Delhi-NCR. I joined The North Cap University, Gurgaon, because it has a good reputation and was providing me the course (Computer Science) I wanted.

The North Cap University has a balanced approach towards academic knowledge and practical edge. Along with this, the university is research oriented and provides a fertile ground for new ideas and their development. I am a first year student, hence I do not know a lot about our student chapters. But we have various research societies for many fields like electronics, optics, automobiles, communication, etc. Our college is an active participant in various national and international societies like American Society for Quality (ASQ), Computer Society of India (CSI) and many more.

Yes, our college provides campus placements with various companies like Google, Microsoft, HCl, Sony, TCS, Deloitte, Maruti etc. We have had a placement record of 90% plus, since a decade. The packages range from 3 lac to 8 lac depending on each students's capabilities.

Our college frequently organizes various technical, cultural, management festivals, etc. The main cultural fest (Momentum) is a three days gala event that has various games, DJ nights, competitions and live performances by artists and singers. This year, our college would be organizing a TEDx event.

The fee structure is semester based. It is more economical than most private engineering institutes ,but definitely more expensive than the government funded colleges like IITs. I'd say that the fees is worth the price considering the facilities and opportunities the University provides.

The North Cap University has tie-up with Syndicate Bank. The bank has its loan cell inside the college campus only. The campus also has ATM machines for the students.

The college has a good gender ratio and has a diverse campus in terms of ethnicity also. The campus life is fun. There are various clubs for all hobbies like sports, academics, arts, etc. The management promotes new clubs and organisations, started by students.

I am not a Hostel student, but my friends say that the hostel facilities are good. The environment is clean and safe. The food is tasty as well as hygienic.The hostel staff is strict in terms of discipline and maintains a good standard of living. If you are from any other state, then the hostel is definitely recommended.

The alumni network is highly connected. The seniors are really accommodating. We have a ragging free campus and there is absolutely no bullying. The seniors help you in handling various personal as well academic problems.

Each semester has 2 Minor and 1 Major exam, along with practicals, viva and internal assessments. The schedule isn't jarringly hectic, but challenges you to stay on an edge and perform against challenges and deadlines. The examination structure is similar to most engineering colleges.

The faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. All the teachers are PhD from reputed institutes. The faculty not only focuses on creating skilled engineers with subject expertise, but also disciplined and responsible citizens. This balance of academic and personality development based education really grooms the students. Overall I can say that the faculty is passionate about creating great quality engineers.
