Anonymous's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Kurukshetra

First of all Nit Kurukshetra is in haryana that is my home state. Civil branch of our college is one of the best in our country.there is lot to research in this college as so many new instruments are available in labs.mess food of our college is very bad and unhygienic. I cleared jee mains exam with 97.2 percentile because of my home state quota nad obc certificate I managed to get civil engineering in nit kkr. Admission process was very simple and fast also. You need to attend jossa counseling and when any seat is allotted to you, you just have to report college for accepting it with your choice.

I choose this course because of my marks in jee mains. Faculty here is very experienced especially in civil branch there are one or two faculty members those are not so much experienced and qualified overall faculty members are very good. One teacher attend a lecture with aprox 65 student. As there are led screens installed in each lecture hall so it is very easy to teach 65 students easily. In one semester there are 3 exams i.e mid sem 1,mid sem 2 and End sem. The difficulty level of exam is moderate one can easily pass the exams if he/she I concentrated in classes.

At the starting of 7th semester companies started to pick students. About 75% students placed through canpus placement with highest packages around 27 lakhs and average package of 6 lakhs. I will try to get campus placement after degree.

There are two fest organised in our college. One is utkarsh and the second in Confluence one of north India's largest fest. There are many clubs and society both for cultural and technical. One annual tech fest is also organised by college. Every book student need is easily available in library. And there is E-library also. Ahwaan is a dramatics club i'm also a member of it. There is society called infrastructure for civil eng. students.

Generally there is a very little amount of fees hike, and there are 3 slabs for different people. One slab of annual income above 5 lakhs,other with between 1 to 5 lakhs and last one with below one lakh. So any student rich or poor can easily avail the facility of this college of national importance. There are no campus jobs available. But your fees is according to your limits.

Mess meal is not upto the best quality.one can only manage with this type of meal. Registration for hostel is simple they will allot you hostel and room at the time of admission. In room LAN is available with very fast internet speed upto 100mb/s. Locker is also available, bed, socket for electricity, dustbin and proper place and chair to study.

Admissions only through jee mains exam. No GD, Interviews etc. are to be faced by student. Student must clear exam of JEE Mains and will get admission.
