Sillicon is known for their exam structures. They have an excellent way of conduction of exams, which is good enough for both students and teachers. Sillicon have their own examination department, that is somevfaculties especially manage the exam structures and also have a neat and clean system. Silicon have their separate examination halls.

Placement is good enough but not that good in every branches. Brancges other than compuer science have a low amount of salary offerings, also many are not even placed in their first interview. Thay have to appear again when some core companies come and hire a bunch of them. Internships are quite good, they have compuldary internships programs offered by college itself from the very first year, but a bit costly.

There are a several events held in our colleges and the students have a lot to do in them. They can have food or game stalls in the events and can easily earn a lot from these. Some events are zygon, annual fest and a few more that are held indivisualy by our college heads.

Fees structure is yeah a bit expensive as compared to the level of teaching, also the internships are also costly. The other courses or extra curricular courses are cheap, not that costly, can be accepted and paid by everyone easily, but the tution fees is high. There are no additional fees that we have to pay. And also no transparency in the fee breakdown.

There is no scolarship offer by the college on students for their tution fees. But the college can help you financially if you are to open any startup, but the startup need to be approved by government and be liable in every manner. the college also helps to groups of students who goes in any event in national level.

Campus life is good. Silicon have an ecofriendly canpus full of grenery. We have hubs for internet in campus. There is a cafeteria which is working good in every manner and a second one is currently under construction. There are 2 hostels for boys and 1 for girls which clears 2:1 ratio of boys to girls. There is no type of tolerance based on any thing except for the relation between seniors and juniors which is somewhat common in every college.

Yes, I have opted for hostel room. Hostel rooms are not very clean they are some what messy as there are 4 person living in one room. Also there is public bathrooms for everybody so in case of bathroom they are always dirty, really need to be cleaned. The network connections are not that good but still works a bit.

Yeah somewhat helpful. They came to the college in the very starting days, they then gave a very astonishing speech abhout how to deal with college life and then how to manage teenage life. They mentioned dos and dont of hostel life.

I came to silicon via JEE Mains. The process was to first report at bput in rourkela for registration and then at silicon for admission. The feature like selecting and knowing about the college and course were all held at rourkela, and the final fees payment and hostel checkings and confirmations took place at the college itself in a very peaceful and easy manner.

Faculties are good, but not all faculties are good. They are somewhat prone to speaking their local language which is quite a disadvantage for outsiders, some faculties have ego problems they dont want to listen to students and do of their own but they dont understand that colllege and scools are a combined effort of both teachers and students.
