Remarks
Good infrastructure of the college provided with all the necessary facilities for the students.The hospital attached to the college is also good both in infrastructure and location wise.Teaching staff of the college is really good.Also the pleasant weather of the city and it's location adds plus points to the college.Overall, it is the best medical college in Uttarakhand.
Course Curriculum Overview
It has a well planned curriculum.Faculties make sure that our syllabus always remain up to the mark inorder to avoid the last moment pressure on the students.One of our Anatomy HOD-Mr.Ak Singh sir is quite popular among us as he makes the subject so easy for us through his excellent teaching skills.Faculties are hardworking and dedicated to their work but they are strict too which is fine by me.
Placement Experience
There are no placements. After the completition of our four and a half year course we have to do a one year internship in which we are paid a stipend of Rs.10000 per month is mandatory because after this only our medical degree is valid.
College Events
Apart from performing well in academics, college helps us to develop an overall good personality by enabling us to participate in various events like sports activities, literary and cultural activities like singing,dancing etc.Crescendo is one of the intracollege event organised by the college students where we actively participate in all these extracurricular activities.
Campus Life
Campus is big enough with a large ground where different sports can be played like cricket, football, basketball, tennis etc.One of the bonus point is that campus has a gym too which I think is very important for all of us especially we(the students) who are the building blocks of the nation;Health comes first.It has a library with a size of 2000-3000; with good Wi-Fi facilities.Equipments in labs are clean and well maintained.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel buildings are neither too old nor new but the rooms are big enough with doors and windows in good condition.Rooms are provided with proper ventilation.In first and second year we share the room afterwards we get a single room.It has common washrooms(8 on each floor) which are cleaned on a regular basis.Starting from the supply of clean drinking water to laundry, hostels have all the necessary facilities in it.
