Remarks

It comes in my WBJEE Counselling 3rd round also it's nearer and the campusing is good. When I asked one of my senior about the college that you can take admission into it with no fear. The faculty members are much co operative and they will help you to learn new things. So I had preffered it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Now a days world is going towards digitalisation so I opt this course. The teachers are highly qualified and very experienced the try to make us understand in every possible way.

Placement Experience

From 6th sem onwards the campusing begins. TCS CTS capegimini are the major recruiters. Highest package goes around 10 lpa and on average 3.5 lpa. The percentage of getting placed is around 85%.

College Events

The campus life is too good. Labs are well equipped. There are 4 clubs one is Xplorica a techno-management club. Another one is Estrella, a film production club. A cultural club is also there named Culrav. And one more club is there for sports lovers named Sportivo. Yearly we have many fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

40k per semester fee. You can apply for scholarships like NSP and Aikyashree. Overall campusing is good. From NSP you can get upto 25k per annum scholarship.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

FIEM - The Nooks and Corners !

There were few colleges I applied to based on my WBJEE ranks . There was St. thomas college, techno college , heritage , msit and many more . If you know the way of how WBJEE admissions work , you will know we need to give a list of college and they would choose according to our preference and rank . Now according to that , I got this college . Well, if telling why I didn't get applied in other colleges which were much better it was due to my WBJEE rank , which was not that upto mark . Talking about the admission process , its just following the process of WBJEE admissions and on admission day providig the necessary documents needed by the college which will be informed ( or maybe we need to know) . If we talking about cut offs it changes every year so we need to look after it from previous years' cut off list . Also , you need to have atleast a good percent in both ICSE and ISC for admission....Read More
