The college fests are grand and amazing. We have star nights with celebrities from various fields and cultures. The campus is green and it has a different ambience. There are a lot of societies which can make a student grow to its maximum

The teachers are decent, quite helpful and they take classes regularly even the fact that it's a government college. The teaching quality is pretty good too as the teachers are well qualified and understandable. Yes the curriculum of DU is well known. The college follows the DU curriculum all the time.

Placements were good. Mainly, in the commerce stream, most of the students are placed in comparison with the students who applied for placements were more. Major companies like EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, Brain, etc, visited the campus. Average salary package offered would have been 6-7 LPA.

The crowd consists of people from different parts of India and you get to witness different cultures under one roof which is just awesome. There are a number of societies inclined to academics, extracurricular activities, professional development and various sports teams too. You just need to have an interest and the skill to acquire it. The Annual fest- Confluence is not much of a out of box but will give you just a fine evening with your friends. Societies like Enactus, Commerce Department, Dance soc- Oorja, E-cell are some of the many societies in the college that you can join and can get the chance to grow with them.

The facilities and infrastructure of Hansraj College is quite awesome. We have air conditioned classrooms and well-equipped labs which is very good. Hansraj College does not have a girls hostel,it is a downside but its ok. They have boys hostel only which is decent. Food is superb. Canteen is one of the best canteens in the entire DU universities. Sports team is also quite bold.
