JUIT is among the top private universities of India and is also the rank1 private engineering university in Himachal Pradesh. There are many good aspects of JUIT, first is its reputation and it has one of the most beautiful campuses in India, situated in the Himalayan hills. The campus life of JUIT is great and talking about placements we have a dedicated placement cell of JUIT and also we got many offers from JIIT Noida. The placement record is very good for the CSE branch. We have a maximum offer of 27 Lac this year and the average package is around 6 LPA. The admission process of divided into 2 parts i.e JEE based and +2 based. The +2 based process is directly done on the JUIT campus and JEE based process is under JIIT Noida. I will prefer this college over others because JUIT solan is having the best placement records over the years and it is improving every year because our placement cell is focusing more on product-based companies (Amazon)instead of service-based companies

I am a CSE student and I choose this course because the CSE branch has the best placement record over the years and also the course curriculum is designed in the best way it can. Talking about the faculty members, we have qualified faculty members over here and maximum faculty members are qualified from IIT's and NIT's. The faculty here is very supportive in academics as well as in other problems. The teaching method here in JUIT is very good. We have digital as well as we have lectures taken on a whiteboard. The exam policy of JUIT is a bit different from other Institutes. We have 3 exams in a semester normally called T1, T2, T3. The T1 is of 60 minutes and carries 15 marks, T2 is of 90 minutes and carries 25 marks and T3 is of 120 minutes and carries 35 marks. The difficulty devel is easy to moderate. The left 15 marks are of teacher assessment that comprises of assignments submitted, attendance and class performance, and participation.

Our college provides many internship opportunities. This year many companies visited our campus for internships like boltiot, Wipro, Cognizant, and many more. We get many internship offers during the placement session for the 8th semester.

We are eligible for internships from the 5th semester onwards and for the campus placements after the completion of the 6th semester. Many product-based and service-based companies visit our campus every year like:- 1. Amazon 2. Google 3.ZS Associates 4.ZScaler 5.ByJu's 6.Infosys 7.Cognizant 8. Wipro and many more. The highest package offered is by Amazon is 30 LPA in previous years and 27 LPA this year. The average package offered is around 4-6 LPA. The percentage of students placed is around 95-98% in the CSE branch. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed in a good company.

The fee structure of JUIT consists of Tuition Fees, Hostel Fees (Optional), and Caution money. The tuition fee of my batch (2018) was 95000 Rs and the tuition fee is fixed and different for every batch. The starting hostel fee for my batch was 47500 Rs and has a normal hike of 5 to 7%. The caution money is fixed and its amount is 10,000 rs. The cost to study here in JUIT with a hostel facility is around 3,00,000 Rs per year. Financial assistance is also available during the admission process and we have 2 -3 scholarship opportunities provided here and many scholarships provided by UGC based on various criteria. Talking about campus placements, we have a dedicated placement cell here and also we get many offers from JIIT Noida. The placement record is very good and the minimum package for the CSE branch is around 3 LPA and the maximum is around 28 LPA based on the previous records. Around 90-95% of the eligible students get placed on our campus every year.

The campus life here at JUIT is very good. We have very good infrastructure provided. We have many fests that are conducted on our campus. In the next semester, we have Murious that is tech fest, Farewell for the seniors, and the last and the biggest event of JUIT is Lefiestus. The library here in JUIT is huge we have a great collection of journals and books in the library. Books are always available for students in both digital and physical mediums. Clubs and Committees here in JUIT are:- 1. Cultural and Dance 2. Event and Procurement 3. Hospitality Committee 4.Creative Arts 5.Media and Publicity 6 Disciplinary 7.Createch

We have very good hostels provided by the JUIT. We are given a single bed, one study table, one chair, one almirah, one mattress, 3-4 charging slots, one fan, one book rack, and one room blower. The Mess menu is very good and we have a blend of both Indian and Chinese dishes on our menu. The registration process of the hostel is very simple and is very affordable. Laundry services are also included in our hostel fee.
