Remarks

College is Good. Management is not polite and has to find a way towards some politeness towards the students, teachers may be highly qualified but they lack teaching skill. This is all that i can say.

Entrance Preview

I got 78 in AIEEE and 95 in MH-CET. One of my relative suggested me to join this college and so this college was on top of the college selection list. Well it turns out that his suggestion was not so awesome as i could have got a much better college with the score that i had secured. Never-the-less, this college has been able to give me so much that maybe i could not have got from somewhere else. Happy passing out from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Not at all Pune university's main focus seems to be jobs prospective only i believe, But you see the people who are mad can't be stopped from research at any cost. We had a RND group formed in our college where we used to learn such things those actually a engineering should learn.

Internships Opportunities

No, they do not provide internships, rather students go for paid internship where they pay the company for attaining the internship.

Placement Experience

4

I should say It is Rather Good, because when i hear my friends complaining about placements in there college, i feel i am at a better edge. During 2015-2016 almost 120 companies had visited the campus, In fact I got placed in two companies, Tech Mahindra : 3.25L/per annum, CapeGemini : 3.15L/per annum.

College Events

4

Initially there is Departmental Events during the first semester of the college, there the students of the particular departments handle the event with all the possible events that they could manage to keep, i was the vice-president of my department so we all handled the department events there were 12 technical,13 cultural,9 social,5 personality development,10 sports events. So handling these many events makes the Fest large enough for 500-750 people to participate. There is a College Fest in the next semester called "ALACRITY" It is National Event where we have participants from all over India. It is a mega event and is managed by students from all the departments . I highly recommend every one to attend this event as it turns out to amazingly good. There are many other events like Technical Quizzes, Cultural Drama events like Firodiya and Karandak, Sport events like cricket Tournaments, Football Tournaments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Comparatively one of the lowest fees that the college takes from a student. Fee structure varies from 70 k/year to 90 k/year averaging every year and every department. These seems fairly less compared to other private engineering college across the Pune city.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are good Schemes provided by the university for all the cast category students. College does not provide loan but does provide earn-and-learn scheme where a student can earn few bugs after the college hours. There is no help or scholarships provided by college for GEN category students however poor they ought to be.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is rather very good because of the various activities that go on all the year. Students can find way to cultural activities like singing ,acting, dancing, music. Technical activities like robotics club, RND department. Sport Clubs are available for cricket, football ,basketball, volleyball ,T.T ,tennis etc. Gender ratio what i believe is 50/50 as the college was formerly a women's college there is no discrimination, no raging, no inequality found. Everything is in harmony.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel Facility is only for girls and that also 5-6 km away from the college. There are no hostel for boys and they rather have to find there own shelter as there is no assistance provided the college also. Similarly the girls also find it hard getting shelter and rather end up staying far away from the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors where helpful for sure but the alumni network does not seem to be so good. Alumni had to be self-contacted and there is initiative taken by the college a few times and those time we were benefited.

Exam Structure

It does feel hectic because of the amount of syllabus that SPPU lets student handle and also facing exam on the portion of that syllabus above that the exams are so frequent that you actually become tired and that does influence the performance of the student in the exam. Never-the-less you end-up being habituated to it.

Faculty

2

We can't talk about there qualifications because they were recruited seeing the qualifications only and not the TEACHING SKILLS. Teachers are just highly qualified and they highly lack the teaching skills necessary for making students understand engineering.

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
