Remarks

One of the biggest factor to join this college was because of its extracurricular activities, a lot of activities are there as well as learning and the college provides scholarships also to many students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well designed with a standardised structure. The teaching quality is not much good because of having a few less experienced faculty members. I have had better classes. The course curriculum was relevant to students who want to make a career in this field.

Placement at this college is excellent. 70-80% of students were placed every year. There are many recruiting companies such as Wipro, Axis bank, Infogain, HCL etc. The highest package is 5 lacs and the lowest is 1-5 lacs. Many students got internships from our course.

College Events

The grounds encompassing is solid and cordial. There are extracurricular exercises sorted out around the year. In the long stretch of February College fest is held, which is tremendous and effective, with a decent number of individuals coming.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
