Remarks
The college accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT & X-GMT scores for the flagship BM program. Once you clear the written exam; you'll be called for the GD-PI-WAT round which happens in various cities across the country. Some good things about the college are the brand value & legacy of 33 years. Some bad things are the much high course fees (only course fee is 20.3 lakhs) & the high batch strength of 360. That makes the competition much higher on both summer & final placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The methodology of teching is the case-based method which is a good thing. Some good professors are there & some bad ones are also there (as usual in all the colleges). The faculty-student ratio is around 1:15 & many of the faculties are highly qualified like PHDs etc. Regarding exams, end terms happen for all the subjects at the end of the course & the mid-term is dependent on the faculty(he might or might not conduct it). You can score well if you listen carefully in the class & revise them timely.
Internships Opportunities
Companies include Tata Steel, Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, L'Oreal, etc. These companies provide us with sips almost every year on a consistent basis. Projects include live projects offered by start-ups as well as established companies.
Placement Experience
Students start getting summer placements from term 1. Also, final placements start from term 5 onwards. 100% placements in both sips and finals have been there in our college. My plan is to open my own consultancy after acquiring the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite high here i.e 20.3 lakhs (only the course fees) & including mess & hostel fees it is around 22 lakhs. So fees are on the higher side w.r.t the other colleges of the same tier. Regarding financial assistance, you can get loans of upto 20 lakhs from all the nationalized banks. Regarding scholarships, there are no such scholarships offered by the college. So you need to bear the whole cost by yourself only. Regarding campus placements, the institute achieves 100% placements in the final placement in all the years. So that can be taken care of.
Campus Life
Xpressions is our annual fest. All types of books across various topics are available. We are also provided with various databases for free. The classroom has both white and blackboards, along with projectors.
Interview Experience
The admission process consists of 2 levels i.e written exam, gd-pi-wat. In gd, the topics include current affairs, eco-related topics, and a few abstract topics. So students need to prepare accordingly on these topics.
