College review

The college is one of the good colleges in Bengal. It is proven by AIECT. And has a large campus which many colleges doesn't have. Here many activities are held and there are many clubs for you to improve your skills with your studies. And many companies come to the college for the recruitment of students and about 70% of students get placed.

Actually, I had a lot of interest in electronics gadgets and wanted to know more about them so I choose ECE. Every year 80-90 students take admission in our college in this branch and the teachers are also very qualified. Some have persuaded doctorate and some are on the way. They are very friendly and act as a mentor to us. There are 2 semesters one in the month of December and one in the month of June.

Also, our college provides internship to the students from the 2nd year onwards Internshala provides mail every time. And also training is conducted from the 4th semester. Other than these we have to make projects. We have to do at least 8 projects throughout our college life training is done after the end of the semester in the vacation

Mostly the 3rd and the 4th year students are eligible for campusing. Many companies come to our college like Wipro, infotech, Infosys, Tata, Samsung and many other companies. Most of the students i.e. 70% percent of the students get a job during campusing. And the average payment is 3.5-5lakh per anum and the highest is 14 lakh.

For the first year, you have to pay 1.13 lakh which is less than many private colleges and apart from this you need to pay for the hostel if you are going to take one. Apart from these, there are many opportunities for gaining scholarships like if you are a girl or a resident of Bengal it will be easy to get a scholarship.

The campus is very large every year techfest takes place where students showcase their talents. This is the time when the clubs actually comes into being it is the duty of the students for decorations and the list of events going to happen in the techfest. There is a large library where you can get any books you want. Every year we also have a sports day. And teacher's day is also celebrated apart from this we have intra department debate and quize competitions.
