Remarks
Some good things about the college are the legacy of 33 years & the huge alumni base. Some bad things about the college are the high course fees of 20.3 lakhs & the huge batch size of 360; due to which there is high competition in both summer & final placements. The admission process includes 3 rounds i.e GD-PI-WAT after you clear the written tests & these processes happen in the month of Feb-march & that happens in various cities throughout the country. You can get all the info about this in official pagalguy groups too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good here. The average student-faculty ratio is 1:15 which is good too. The faculties are all highly qualified i.e all of them are PHDs or above. The teaching method over here is case-based methodology; which is good too. End-term (ET) exams happen at the end of the semester for each of the papers. Apart from that, bi-weekly or tri-weekly quizzes happen in all the subjects. If you listen carefully in the class & revise them regularly then you can clear the exams comfortably.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies such as TCS, Tata Steel, Infy, Deloitte, OYO Rooms, etc come to the campus & offer internships to candidates. The roles include consulting, finance roles, sales & marketing. Sales & marketing is the predominant sector in which companies offer internships. The college is able to place all the available candidates, but due to the huge batch size, some students don't get their preferred roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fee is 20.3 lakhs & around 22 lakhs if we add the mess & hostel charges. So it is quite expensive w.r.t the colleges of the same tier. There is no such scholarship available from the college which means you've to bear all the costs by yourself. For financial assistance, you can get loans from all the leading banks for funding your education. So that can be taken care of.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is 'expressions' which is a 3-day mega event & happens in the month of November. The library hosts thousands of books along with some reputed journals which can be really helpful in projects etc. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors, a/c, etc. There are a total of 19 clubs; which students can be part of based on their interests. Many sports are played on the campus such as cricket, football, volleyball, etc & all can take part in them based on their interests.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is compulsory here & all hostels are within the campus itself. So it is very safe as well. There are many hostels on the campus such as GR 1, GR 2, cendrate, studio, MTR, etc. The registration process for the hostels is done at the time of admission itself so no such separate regd. is required. Also, a washing machine facility is available & mess food is good too.
Interview Experience
Yes, there is GD-PI-WAT after you clear the written tests. The GD topics normally include CA, some economics-related topics & sometimes some abstract topics. So the aspirants need to prepare accordingly. The WAT topic is the same as the GD topic. For PI, freshers need to prepare their undergrad subjects well & experienced candidates should be well aware of their work & should also prepare at least 1 favorite subject of theirs from undergrad as they might also get some academic questions.
