Remarks
The college is really nice and the faculty is also great. The college has a lot of activities going on throughout the year, the union is very active but the washrooms of the colleges are not clean, the canteen is big but the food is not so great, there are a lot of internships for students and lots of societies to be part of. The admission is purely based on merit performance and starts after the 12th results are announced in the month of June and July. The metro station is at walking distance from the college and Karol bagh market is also very near to the college
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.com(Hons) because of my interest in finance, business, and accountancy. This course is one of the best courses offered by the University of Delhi. There are about 38 students in each section and around 6 faculty every semester. Most of the faculty are postgraduate and Ph.D.and Term exams are conducted in December and May.
Placement Experience
The score of placements in college is 7 out of 10. Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The highest package offered is around 4-5LPA. A lot of companies visit colleges like EY, De shaw, KPMG, etc. Around 50-60% of students get placed with decent packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the college of 15K for one year and is really affordable. I don't know if any financial assistance is provided by the college or not. There are companies that come for placement for my course, but I don't know about other colleges
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is SYMPHONY and it is a grand event conducted by the college union in the month of January. The library of the college is amazing and well managed. There is no shortage of books. The classrooms are spacious, some have Air conditioners in them and every class has a projector in them. There are almost all sports played here including football, basketball, volleyball etc. There are more than 20 societies here and all of them are run by students and teachers are the co-ordinators.
