Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum of this college is good . The professors helps us for future . I read novels and journals that influenced me to choose this course . The only improvement I want is that the behaviour of english department professors they are bit strict and rude . Exams were easy not worries about that .

Placement Experience

2

No placements for humanities students. If you're a b.com student then maybe you will get some opportunity but for other students very less chance to be placed. Package maybe around 1 to 2 lakh for a fresher student . I don't know about exact percentage of students who are placed . My plans after getting degree is to preparing for competitive exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admission in this college, the fees was around 14000 for english honours but in my second year the fees hyped and I went to 18000 and in the last year of my college, the fees was around 21000. The students were protested for this but nothing comes out . The fees remains same . There are some cash prizes for those students who scored highest marks in their subjects in their class . They will get prizes. I've seen some students who are from jammu kashmir . They get scholarship and ladakh students too but notnfrom college. From their state and they have seats in this college. The fees fornfeneral category students are bit high maybe there is some relaxation foor sc sts. I am from general category and according to me , the fees was bit high.

Campus Life

5

The overall experience of the campus was good. The annual fest takes place in January month in this college. The fest is known as Jyotsana. There is a library there , you can found any book, novel, journal there . Every facility is provided in the classroom. Sports ground is very big, you can also apply in this college through supports quota if you're in supports. There are many clubs in this college, dance , music, placement, debate and so on .

Hostel Facilities

5

Rooms are big , separate almora separate study table they provided . The quality of food is the best . The best menu , the best food I must say . Do registration online on its portal . The fees is bit high but you will not regret it.

Admission

I've applied for miranda house college, kirori mal college, hansraj college. They are the top colleges for delhi university that's why I applied for these but due to high cut off at that time . I was not selected, maybe the seats were less and cutoff was high. The addmission process of my college was cuet score based now and online too . Cutoffs are high but depends upon category top .

Faculty

3

The faculty is good . If I'm talking about my faculty the professors are helpful in nature , but bit strict too as compared to other department's professors as I notice. I think the best faculty is political science faculty in this college. They are joyful , entertaining and open with their students . I don't like my faculty that's is english faculty. We have semester tests in the college. The level is moderate to high tough but in semester exams I think the paper was easy notncrry tough if you've studied.

Interview Experience

2

There is no interview and job opportunities for humanities students but for b.com students there is scope , you can go for it. The interview will be easy just be prepared with the questions like your intro and interest.

Night Life

5

I lived in hostel of this college. The hostel is named as krishna hostel . The fees of the hostel is high but the facilities are upto mark. The best hostel I must say . The best mess , best menu, best food. You will not regret if you are choosing college's hostel . Go for it , the best memories you will made there only. To apply for hostel , you should apply online , fill the form on hostel's site and the list will come out after some week .

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
