Remarks
Ximb is one of the best B-School in India. It provides MBA in business management, rural management. It considers scores of different exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT. I got admission through the CAT exam where I scored 90 percentile. Faculties and mentors are too friendly. The shortlisted candidates undergo GD, PI and WAT.
Course Curriculum Overview
In Ximb, there are world class faculties. They are qualified, and most of them are practical oriented. All faculties are almost PhD holders. Some faculties stay inside the campus and can be contacted at any time. They are there for us at every point in time. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10.
Internships Opportunities
They provide Internship to every student. These are paid internships. Various live projects also come along with 1-2 months duration. They even provide a stipend. They give the task and that should be done within 2 months duration, depends on their time schedule.
Placement Experience
Placements in Ximb is 100%. Each and every student get placed every year. The Average package in 2020 was 15.4 lakhs. All reputed companies come for the admission procedure. Companies like Emami, Godrej, Tata Steel etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per year are around 10 lakhs excluding hostel and mess charges. There is no provision of Scholarship or financial assistance. Various companies come for the internship process and almost every person get placed. 100 % placement occurs here with an average package of 15.4 lakhs.
Campus Life
Ximb organises the event every now and then. Apart from the rigorous schedule, it arranges events on a daily basis. It's true that 'XIMB NEVER SLEEPS'. It is the biggest B-School in eastern India. The Library is well furnished and has a variety of books, journals. Mostly all the events are done by the student committees. There are various clubs to organise sports, cultural activities etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are very neat and clean. There is a single room, double room. Even triple sharing room which is given to the students as per to their preferences. It is allocated randomly. Food quality is very good and hygienic. Every month there is a different menu.
Interview Experience
I got 90 percentile in the CAT examination. I had a domicile of Odisha, so I got shortlisted. In the best round, there is GD, PI, WAT. It goes very smoothly. After this, I got selected in 2 years program of MBA in BM. Interview topics are from current affairs, your graduation topics etc.
