The reality of DIEMS

Because the college has a good faculty. The teaching level is extremely nice. My college even has many other activities like sports, workshop, etc. Overall the college stands good in other curricular activities. The admission process followed by the college is as directed by the Maharashtra state government. The college also provided the admission facility in the college itself. The admission process for the first round started from 14-16 January and for the second round, it was from 26-30 January. Various reasons for preferring this college over others are- 1. The college is very good as per the placement cell. Every student of this college has a chance to get placed in a good company. 2. The teaching staff is really really nice. 3. Has a big playground for various sports. 4. The hostel facility is also good. 5. Has a good record in the Education sector. The website which l prefered while selecting the college is College Duniya.

I have chosen this course because I wanted to be a Software engineer. The faculty: student ratio is 1:9 Qualification of the faculty members is M.tech and all of them have a good experience of around 7-8 years and the HODs have experience of about 12-13 years. As already mentioned the teaching staff is friendly and good. The term exams have a time limit of an hour. The difficulty level is a little bit higher. This makes all of our studies harder.

The college provides on campus internships to the students. Some of the internships are paid and some are unpaid. The stipend for the internships goes around 15000-20000 per month and the stipend depends on the skills of the students. Some students who are really skilful and creative even get internships with a stipend of around 25000-30000 per month. The college also provides the chance for the students to develop their own project and many students also get enrolled in various projects provided by different companies. Some students do web development projects, some do project related to graphics and many more.

The placement cell of the college is really appreciable. This means all the students of each and every branch have an equal chance to get placed in a good company. The placement cell record of the college is very good. And now since the college is developing itself throughout the number of companies to hire the students on campus is increasing. For the last four- five years the company named Byju's is giving the highest package to the students, particularly in the CSE department.

The fees structure is 98000 rupees. And the students get concession in the fees as per the income of their family and also the category. Say for example- for NT caste it goes down to around only 12500 rupees. For SC- ST the have to pay only 5000 rupees deposit which they get back after 4 years means the completion of the degrees. The students also have various scholarships like the Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj scholarship, etc. Students who wanted to jobs along with studies can get it with a good stipend of around 3000- 5000 rupees per month.

The college conducts an annual fest named QUASARS and is usually conducted in February. There are many tech fests also. The library is really big and all types of books required for the students and that to equal to several students do that all students can avail the books at a time. Apart from the course books, there are huge other books in different languages for all passionate readers. For all the students who are interested in sports, the college provides various equipment and a huge ground to practice and keep their passion alive. There are many clubs run by the students like R-Infinity club, Nature club, Trekking club, Cycling club, Reading club and many more. In when it goes in in the classroom it's very strict. For every lecture attendance of all students is taken so that students can't bunk the classes.
