BIMTECH college overall experience

The college is around 32 years old, This is a college with a Large Alumni network and Experienced Faculty. Even in a tough time like the Pandemic right now, They are working towards getting every student placed. The only bad aspect I found is that the college campus is not too big. The admission process was smooth, there was continuous communication from the college about the interview dates and the results of the PI. Placements and the Faculty was the reason to choose this college I spoke to an Alumnus of the college to finalize my decision to select this college

I choose PGDM because of the opportunities available after the course. Most of the Faculty are either a PhD holder or a person with Sound Industry experience, They teach the concepts very well with related industry examples and case studies.

The Internship process started around January this year and the process is going online this year due to the Pandemic. Both Startups and well established companies come for Summer Internships of first year students.

Students are eligible for placements after the completion of their first year. They can either get a PPO from the place of their Internship or sit for campus placements. The highest package offered this year is 13 LPA and the average is around 7-8 LPA. The college has a 100% placement record.

The total fee including Hostel costs around 15-16 lakhs. There is a Merit scholarship given to people who top the trimester. The average package one can get in the campus placement is around 7-8 LPA. It changes YOY.

Life at the campus is good. There are many clubs and conduits that conduct various types of events both Online and Offline and all those clubs and conduits are managed and run by students under faculty guidance.

The hostel room is a single sharing room with AC and heater availability. The food quality was good. All the students are required to stay on the campus, so there is no process to register to live in a hostel.

Current Affairs were asked in GD, we were asked about the Budget released at that time of the Interview which happened around Feb 2020.PI was more about my work experience and why did I left my job and opted to do my Masters. There was not much preparation involved for me in these rounds.
