The college accepts students whose CAT and XAT percentile are 70 and above. I got 72 so this was one of the best options for me. It has a good brand name and placements are fine too. The college is residential and it is necessary to stay in the hostel. The college starts its admission process from mid-December and lasts till March-April. For getting selected one needs to clear WAT and PI. I am in PGDM marketing. This college is best known for its marketing and Insurance management course. If you are choosing finance then you have to give a test and clear it. There is a 1:65 faculty-student ratio. The faculties are good here and came from reputed and well known institutes like IIM-A, C, L. The faculty follows a practical as well as a theoretical approach. BIMTECH have trimesters for exam i.e., 3 exams in 1st year and 3 exams in 2nd year followed my mid-terms, OLT's, viva, assignments, ample of projects.

Most startups come here for internships which offer a stipend of around 7k on average. Some students try on their own for internships. Majorly marketing companies come for an internship. In marketing, mostly sales and BD roles are given to the interns. Around 60-70% of students get an internship offer.

The institution fee for PGDM is 12L and 4L for hostel+ mess fee. Total 16L. BIMTECH every year increase their fee by 1L but due to the covid scenario, the fee remained the same for 2019 and 2020 batch. For meritorious students, there is a scholarship of Rs.50,000 for the top 4 students and Rs.25,000 for the next top 4 students. For backward classes and EWS students, there is some reduction in the hostel fee. The summer internships stipend ranges from NIL to 30,000. It depends on the ability of the students. The average package is 7L for final placements

There are many clubs and conduits which you can be a part of like marketing finance, entrepreneurship club and many more. You can be a part of 1 conduit and 2 clubs max. The academic books will be provided by the college itself. The college has a beautiful library and includes ample other books too. There are many extracurricular activities in college that have their own fun with lots of learning.

There are 3 hostels on campus 2 girls and 1 boy and 1 boys hostel outside campus nearly 1km away named RCI. Every student must stay in the hostel. Campus hostel has clusters which consist of 4 rooms. Individual rooms are available for PGDM students. ( no sharing). The room has a single bed, 1almirah, study table. In a cluster, there is a TV, refrigerator, 1 bathroom. Staff is there to clean the room and bathroom every day. In winters, there is the facility of the blower and in summers, AC. Mess food is very good here with an extremely clean kitchen. There is a variety of food served here.

BIMTECH has WAT and PI for its admission process and there is no GD. The topics for WAT are very general. Just be updated with the news and trends in business. In PI, the faculties are very good and make you stay calm during the whole process.
