Internship Experience

BIMTECH is a very decent college, It provides all the decent facilities to all the students and teachers. The curriculum provided to students has a lot of content. The institute also provides industrial experience to students which makes students future-ready. The infrastructure of the college is pretty good, there is a lot of tree and plants in it which gives a fresh atmosphere to students. There is a separate hostel for both girls and boys. The food provided by mess includes different culture. All the festivals are celebrated in this college. Students can play various sports here like Table Tennis, basketball, cricket, Volleyball etc. No other college gives so much practical knowledge that this college gives. Various guest lectures by industry experts are done in this college.

I have chosen PGDM in marketing specialization with business verticals in IT. I chose marketing because I like communicating with people. The ratios of boys to a girl in this college is almost 60:40. The case study method is used in this college. Publishing from Harvard business review are also taught here. The faculty has a lot of experience in the corporate world. Term Exams comes almost after 5 months and if you have carefully studied what has been taught in college, little creativity can easily give you good grades.

Various companies come here for giving a summer internship to students. Companies like Tech Mahindra, BAJAJ MOTORS, Pinnaca, Stock holding, stealth mode, refract consulting, Medulance Healthcare, American express, senior Flextronics comes in college. Students also get various opportunities for doing live projects.

Placements are decent in this college. More than 100 companies come to the college during placement time. The highest package goes beyond 18 lakh per annum for students and the average package remains between 7 to 8 lakhs. More than 95 percent of students get placed from campus recruitment. My pan after getting a degree is to be at a managerial post in some big company and getting a full knowledge of the corporate world. The alumni from this college have become CEO of various companies. This college makes the profile of the students pretty impressive.

The fees structure of PGDM in this college is almost 12 lakh and combined fees for mess and residential campus is a total of 16 lakh. The students who have got more than 85 percentile in the cat are given a scholarship of 50000 rupees. Financial assistance is also provided here, banks give loans to that student who applies for it at a minimal rate of interests. Top companies come to this college for the recruitment process. The average package that students get is almost 7 to 8 lakh per annum. IT, BFSI and FMCG companies here for the recruitment process.

Life at the campus is amazing. It has all the facilities which the student requires. Television is provided in every cluster of boys and girls. Various fests and competitions are organized in the college. There are different clubs and conduits in this college which take care of all these things. Sports conduits organize different tournaments between students like table tennis, cricket and football. The library is also there in college where students can easily study in a peaceful environment. There is an alumni club, eco-club, majlis and all these clubs, conduits are run by college students.

The hostel facility is awesome here. The rooms are pretty big and the cleaners come every day. Proper hygiene is maintained in this college. The food menu is made by the food conduit while taking care of all students from a different culture. The mess is pretty big. There is a proper cooling facility in summer in hostel rooms and heating facilities in winters. Solar panels are being installed in college to be ecofriendly and reduce the usage of fossil fuels. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls and lifts are also there in hostels.

The minimum eligibility criteria for getting into Bimtech is to get 70 percentile in Cat. After the entrance examination students are called for a Personal Interview and written ability test. Questions from basic to advanced level can be asked in the interview. In a written ability test a topic is given to the student and he has to write it in the prescribed time. for preparation for these tasks, students can read newspapers and various books. And after some time (days/months) if a student gets selected he will get mail regarding it.
