So if you are thinking to take admission to Shivaji College then you are absolutely taking the right decision. The infrastructure and the teachers are excellent. The interior of the college is very nice and the campus is so great. The college has a very vast sports complex. The college organizes an amazing fest every year. It is best in each of the activities. It includes music society, dance society, theatre, debate, art, and many more societies. Placements are also available and students get good opportunities. The library has a large collection of books. So it would not be wrong to say that Shivaji College is indeed a perfect choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many courses offered in all the streams. I chose Maths Hons because Firstly I was interested in Maths and it provides vast and in-depth knowledge of mathematics. After the completion, this course offers various modes of employment with high packages so this is an Excellent course if you like Mathematics. The faculty members are very nice and helpful. They try to provide each sort of help you need. They are well qualified and most of them have done pHd. The teaching level is 10/10. Each of the things is clearly explained by the teachers. The semester exams are held in Dec and May every year and it is so easy to pass because of the quality of teaching.

Almost 90% of students get internships at Shivaji College. Students of Shivaji College can enroll themselves at Placement Portal and can get to know various companies, the details of the internships with stipend
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement in the final year. Almost 70% of the students are getting placed every year and the package offered is 2.5-4 LPA Some of the top companies are Allen, ICICI, E, and Y. After getting my degree my plan is to do masters in mathematics and then apply for an assistant professor after giving NET
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees are 66,500 which is for 3 years but you have to give fees of one year at a time. The students who are economically facing problems can also get fee concession. The placement cell of the college is very active and brings various internship opportunities for students
Campus Life
Shivaji College has an amazing campus entirely. The annual fest held every year is Vibrations which is conducted in March every year. Renowned singers and actors are approached. Not on the day of the fest but the entire week of the fest is so nicely celebrated. You should not miss the fest of Shivaji College. The college has one of the largest libraries with a huge collection of books. The sports complex of Shivaji College is so vast where you can play the sport of your interest like cricket football etc. There are many societies in Shivaji College like dance society, music society, art society, fashion society, debate society, photography society, NCC, NSS, wdc, and more.. So overall the college is very impressive
