Internships Opportunities
Internships were not offered through college back when I was studying. I am not sure how the scenario is today.
Placement Experience
A separate training and placement cell under professional experts has been established, which has tie ups with many prominent companies for regular industrial interactions. Industrialists visit the institute for events like project exhibition, guest lectures. Majority of the students are selected in various prestigious industries.
College Events
Events were organised every year. We have a sports and a cultural event hosted at college. I wouldn't describe this as a mega event but is was a bit on the smaller side where a few other colleges would participate. On cultural days as well there was a very mediocre crowd and it was never a very big event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees in my opinion were not exorbitant. It was in the 60k range when I was studying. Now it is somewhere is the 80k range from what I hear. I feel compared to many other institutes it is cheaper.
Campus Life
The college has the facility of online lab which is helpful for the students to develop their practical skills in IT technologies. The college has a language lab with software installed to help the students develop English language skills.
Alumni/Alumna
The MCOE Alumni Cell has been working actively since many years. We believe that every alumni of the institute has some useful knowledge to be shared among the current students of the institute. Therefore, MCOE Alumni Cell always tries to have interactions of alumni with the student in the form of seminars, guest lectures, evaluator for project competitions and many more.
Exam Structure
Students are assessed continuously through Formative assessments like Class test, Home assignments, Open book tests, online exam practice and through Mid-semester examination and End-semester Examination, which ensures that students are engaged into studies throughout the Semester. For some of the practical oriented subjects the students prepare and make individual / group presentations.
Faculty
Faculty is very supportive and interested in teaching. They are highly qualified to conduct the courses assigned. Overall it was a good experience from the faculty perspective.
